For long, I had been waiting to start a taxi service in Shimla. There were many ifs and buts left to be sorted out. It all started in March 2011 when I finally decided on owning a vehicle of my own and in came a 6 seater Innova. The registration formalities took a fortnight and the vehicle was ready for it’s first customer.
The first enquiry came from a family in Chennai and the car went on it’s first trip for seven days to Manali in March end. The business has been good this summer season and the car has has been continuously on the road. It recently came back from a Kinnaur-Sangla trip.
