Dalhousie is one of the dazzling hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 1854 by the British Empire in India as a summer retreat. The town was named after Lord Dalhousie. He was the British Viceroy in India during that time.

The temperature can fall to freezing point during winters so heavy woolens are required in this season.
