Payments Terms and Conditions
For the services contracted following are the terms and conditions are applicable, advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis .We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the nature of services and the time left for the commencement of the services.
Apart from the above for hotel or resort bookings full payment is required to be sent in advance.
Mode of Payment: Advance payment can be made through wire transfer to our bank / Online Payment / Paytm.
Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure
In case of cancellation of taxi rental service due to any avoidable/unavoidable reasons we must be informed in writing or by e-mail. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive the request in writing and cancellation charges would be as following (only for taxi rental services):
- 30 days prior to arrival – Full Refund of the advance paid.
- 15 days prior to arrival – 10% of the tour cost.
- 07 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour cost.
- 0- 2 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour cost.
- 1 day prior to arrival – No refund.
- Cancellation during the tour – No refund.
Refund: The refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that refund process may take a maximum of 2 weeks. If the refund is made to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
Liabilities & Limitations
After the finalization of the tour cost, if there are any hikes in taxes, fuel cost or guide charges by the Government or any competent authority, the same would be charged as extra.
Himachaltaxi.com acts only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, transporters & contractors providing other services & all receipts, contracts & vouchers issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them.
All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well being.
Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, transport vendors etc. Hotels and transport vendors retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or transport vendors. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.
We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of God, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other cause beyond our control.
We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements on their own. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
General Terms & Conditions
♦ HimachalTaxi.com shall not be responsible in any matter whatsoever for any delay or inconvenience to the passengers during the journey due to any other cause/unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
♦ Car air-conditioning will be switched off in hilly routes & also when the vehicle is not in motion. The customer is expected not to request the driver to make the air condition operational in the afore mentioned journey / stops.
♦ The vehicle booked will be subject to availability. In a case where the car booked is not available on the day of travel the customer will be provided with an alternative equivalent vehicle in the similar segment as applicable.
♦ Transfer and local car rental services are valid only within city limits. For the afore mentioned car rental services any request for out station travel beyond city limits will entitle the driver to deny services without any liability to refund the booking amount.
♦ Any request for amendment to a booking made earlier by a customer will be honored only if the request is done 24 hours before the pick up time. No changes will be done within 24 hours of the time of pick-up. In cases where amendments are requested on vehicle type, the vehicle requested will be subject to availability.
♦ In case of a no show where the customer has not informed HimachalTaxi.com of the changes in schedule 24 hours before the pick up time no refunds will be entertained.
♦ Customer is liable to pay waiting charges in the case of delay (be it for any reason) exceeding more than 15 minutes from the scheduled pick up time.
♦ Customer is liable to pay for any additional distance traveled and also for additional hourly charges if applicable. Any unscheduled changes will attract additional charges as applicable.
♦ No refund will be made in case of mechanical trouble to the vehicle or natural calamities like, landslides, flood, earthquake, heavy snow fall or any other reason beyond the control of the HimachalTaxi.com
♦ Tariff is subjected to change as per hike in fuel price or any toll / taxes and final price of the tour will depend on applicable fuel prices, toll / taxes at the time of travel irrespective of booking made in advance.
♦ No refund will be made for any unused transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service due to bad weather, ill health, strike, road blocks or any other factor beyond our control. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.
Law & Jurisdiction
For all complaints, claims or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by Himachaltaxi.com will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts of Shimla.
